About Memphis 901 FC

Memphis 901 FC brought affordable, family-friendly soccer to Memphis, Tennessee as an independent club in the USL Championship. Founded in 2018 and debuting in 2019, the club competed in the league’s Eastern Conference, offering Memphis fans a professional soccer experience in the second division of the U.S. soccer pyramid below MLS.

Memphis 901 FC played home matches at AutoZone Park in downtown Memphis. Opened in 2000 and set near Beale Street and the city core, the venue is best known as a ballpark, but it was reconfigured to host soccer—creating a unique match-viewing layout. In soccer configuration, capacity was approximately 10,000, with seating options that included bowl views and premium areas within the ballpark structure.

Matchups across the USL Championship Eastern Conference helped shape demand, especially as the club pushed into playoff contention during its peak seasons. If there’s a specific matchup you’re targeting, browsing Memphis 901 FC tickets early is the smartest move.

Getting Ready for Memphis 901 FC Match Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially in a downtown venue setting where traffic patterns and pre-event crowds can affect timing.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near AutoZone Park gets congested on match days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
  • Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
  • Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
  • Public transit. AutoZone Park is accessible via local MATA bus service and the Main Street Trolley line. Using transit can be a convenient way to reach downtown on match day.
  • Plan parking ahead. Downtown parking garages and lots surround the ballpark in the central business district, so it helps to pick a garage or lot before you head in.
  • Rideshare. Plan your rideshare pickup point — downtown Memphis drop-off zones near the ballpark on surrounding streets can get busy after the final whistle.
