About the Boston Fleet

The Boston Fleet are a professional women’s ice hockey team in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). Founded in 2023 as one of the league’s six original franchises, Boston made an immediate statement in the PWHL’s inaugural season—reaching the Walter Cup Finals in 2023–24 before falling to Minnesota in the league’s first championship series. The franchise adopted the Boston Fleet name and identity ahead of the 2024–25 season, and the roster has been anchored by elite talent including Hilary Knight, Megan Keller, Aerin Frankel, and Susanna Tapani.

The Fleet primarily play at Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, an arena that opened in 1998 and seats approximately 6,000 fans. With its close-quarters design and seating that keeps you near the ice, Tsongas Center delivers an up-close hockey experience that fits the pace and skill of the PWHL—and helps create a lively, energetic game-night atmosphere.

In a six-team league, every matchup matters, and several opponents can drive especially strong demand—particularly Montreal Victoire, Toronto Sceptres, and Minnesota Frost. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Boston Fleet tickets early is the smartest move.

Boston Fleet Seating at Tsongas Center

Tsongas Center offers a close-to-the-action feel that’s ideal for hockey—an intimate arena where you can track the speed of the game and the movement on the ice from almost anywhere in the bowl. With a single primary seating bowl surrounding the ice, you can choose between value-friendly ends, corner angles, or center-ice sightlines depending on how you like to watch.

Best Seats for Boston Fleet Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you're after:

• Best value: End-zone (behind-the-net) and upper corner sections — elevated views with strong atmosphere at a lower price point
• Closest to the action: Lower sideline and end sections — feel the pace up close as plays develop along the boards and around the crease
• Best overall view: Center-ice sideline sections at mid-height — classic hockey sightlines near center ice to see the full sheet and follow line changes and breakouts across the ice
• For groups and premium experiences: Seating together in the main bowl is a great option for groups planning a shared night out

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting a high-demand rivalry matchup, it’s smart to purchase early so you can keep everyone together in the same section.
