About Racing Louisville FC

Racing Louisville FC is a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club awarded in 2020 that began NWSL play in 2021. As one of the league’s newer expansion franchises, Racing Louisville is still building its trophy case, but it reached an important milestone with its first NWSL playoff appearance in the 2024 season. Notable names connected to the club include Savannah DeMelo, Emily Fox, Nadia Nadim, and Jaelin Howell.

Best Seats for Racing Louisville FC Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

  • Best value: General admission and supporters’ section areas (typically behind the goals) — elevated energy, strong atmosphere, and a lower price point
  • Closest to the action: Lower seating areas around the bowl — feel the pace up close as play moves through your end
  • Best overall view: Sideline sections near midfield — strong sightlines for watching plays develop across the pitch
  • For groups and premium experiences: Club seating, field-level premium areas, and suites along the sideline — added comfort and hospitality for groups or special occasions

If you’re coordinating a group outing or targeting a high-demand matchup, it’s smart to organize your purchase early so everyone can sit together.

Getting Ready for Racing Louisville FC Match Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially with mobile entry and busier arrival patterns around a soccer-specific stadium on match days.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Lynn Family Stadium gets congested on match days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
  • Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
  • Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
  • Public Transit: Lynn Family Stadium is served by TARC (Transit Authority of River City) bus routes, with access near downtown Louisville. Public transit can be a convenient option on match day.
  • Rideshare: Use the designated rideshare pickup/drop-off zones near the stadium, and plan ahead for post-match crowds.
  • Bag Policy: Lynn Family Stadium uses a clear-bag policy; small clutch-sized non-clear bags are typically permitted within size limits. Large bags and outside food/drink are among the prohibited items.
  • Bring a card or mobile payment — Lynn Family Stadium is cashless. Credit/debit and mobile payments are accepted, with cash-to-card conversion stations available.
