Show Information

The Gazillion Bubble Show premiered in 2007 at New World Stages in New York City. The production is an original family variety spectacle created by and starring the Yang family of bubble artists, led by Fan Yang, a Guinness World Record–holding performer known for extraordinary bubble feats. The show is now performed by members of the family including Ana Yang, Deni Yang, Melody Yang, and Jano Yang.

The production is centered on live bubble artistry, combining giant bubbles, bubbles within bubbles, smoke- and fog-filled bubbles, lighting effects, lasers, music, and interactive audience moments. It continues as a long-running Off-Broadway engagement at New World Stages, with additional touring productions presented internationally. Performances typically run approximately 60–75 minutes with no intermission.

The Yang family is a multigenerational dynasty of bubble artists with multiple Guinness World Records, including records tied to the largest bubbles and the most people enclosed inside a soap bubble. The show has become one of New York’s longest-running family attractions and is widely praised for its broad appeal across generations, especially its moments that bring bubbles directly into the audience.

Story Summary

The Gazillion Bubble Show is a live family spectacle built around a sequence of bubble-artistry production numbers. Instead of following a plot, the experience is unified by the Yang family’s record-setting skill, playful audience interaction, and a visual world of music, lighting, lasers, fog, and floating bubbles.

Across the performance, the scale grows from smaller, precise bubble tricks into larger theatrical feats. Audiences may see giant bubble formations, bubbles nested inside other bubbles, smoke-filled bubbles that burst into clouds, and interactive moments where performers or volunteers are enclosed inside massive bubbles.

The show is designed to be immediately enjoyable for all ages. No advance knowledge is needed; the surprise, color, motion, and hands-on audience energy make the experience easy to follow from the first bubble to the finale.

Show Highlights

The Gazillion Bubble Show is known for visually memorable, kid-friendly moments that blend science, stagecraft, and live performance.

• Giant Bubbles — Performers create enormous, room-spanning bubbles that show the scale and control behind the Yang family’s artistry. These moments often draw some of the biggest reactions because the bubbles feel larger than life when seen in person.

• Bubbles Within Bubbles — This segment highlights the precision of the craft as multiple bubbles are formed inside one another. The effect is delicate, surprising, and especially impressive because each layer depends on careful timing and control.

• Smoke and Fog Bubbles — Bubbles filled with swirling smoke bring a dramatic visual twist to the performance. When they burst, the smoke creates cloud-like effects that pair well with the show’s lighting and theatrical atmosphere.

• Person-Inside-a-Bubble — One of the show’s signature interactive feats places a volunteer or performer fully inside a giant bubble. It is a standout moment for families because it turns the bubble artistry into something immersive and unforgettable.

• Laser and Lighting Finale — The theater fills with illuminated bubbles set against lasers and music. This finale creates a colorful, high-energy environment that surrounds the audience in the show’s signature visual style.

• Audience Bubble Shower — Bubbles cascade into the house, giving children the chance to pop, chase, and interact with them. It is one of the most participatory moments in the performance and a major reason front rows are especially popular with families.

The Gazillion Bubble Show Seating Guide

The Gazillion Bubble Show plays at New World Stages in New York City and in touring theater venues, so seating layouts can vary by location. Where you sit shapes the experience, especially for families who want the most direct view of the bubble effects and interactive moments.

Best Seats for The Gazillion Bubble Show

The best seats depend on whether you want maximum interaction, a full-stage view, or the strongest value.

• Best value: Rear orchestra and upper mezzanine sections — These seats typically provide a clear view of the stage while keeping you positioned to enjoy the lighting, laser effects, and large-scale bubble visuals.
• Closest to the stage: Front orchestra sections — These seats put you nearest the performers and are especially popular for families because the front rows offer the most interactive experience for young children.
• Best overall experience: Mid-orchestra and front mezzanine sections — These areas balance proximity with a broader stage view, making it easier to take in both the performer details and the larger visual effects.
• For families with young children: Aisle access can make arrival, seating, and exiting easier, especially for a 60–75 minute show with no intermission. Families with children 2 and under may also consider lap seating where permitted.
• For groups: Coordinate contiguous seats early, since blocks in popular orchestra and mezzanine sections can sell through quickly for family-friendly performance times.

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to understand your angle to the stage, your distance from the front, and whether you're in the orchestra, mezzanine, or balcony — so the seats you choose match exactly what you're looking for before the curtain rises.

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the full experience run smoothly from arrival through the final bow.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around the venue can be congested on busy performance days. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're ready at the door without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most theaters. A portable battery pack is worth having, especially if you're combining the show with dinner or other activities.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain. Theater doors open well before the show begins; arriving early gives you time to find your seats and settle in before the house lights go down — and avoids the disruption of late seating, which many theaters restrict.
• Plan for a 60–75 minute run with no intermission. The Gazillion Bubble Show moves straight through its performance, so parents and groups should plan restroom visits, snacks, and seating needs before the show begins.
• For families, prepare for interactive moments. The show is marketed as fun for ages “2 to 102,” and front rows offer the most direct audience interaction. Young children who love bubbles may be especially engaged when the effects move from the stage into the house.
• Build time into your Midtown Manhattan plan. New World Stages is located in a high-traffic theater district, and weekend matinee schedules are popular with families. Allow extra time for transportation, nearby crowds, and getting everyone seated comfortably.
