Whether you’ve followed the team for years or you’re planning your first match, North Carolina Courage tickets put you inside one of the NWSL’s most electric atmospheres.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at WakeMed Soccer Park to knowing what to expect when you arrive on match day.

About the North Carolina Courage

The North Carolina Courage are a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club founded in 2017, established when the Western New York Flash was purchased and relocated to North Carolina by Steve Malik. In a short time, the Courage built a championship legacy with two NWSL Championships (2018, 2019) and three NWSL Shields (2017, 2018, 2019). The title-era teams featured star talent and key contributors such as Crystal Dunn, Debinha, Abby Dahlkemper, and Lynn Williams—names closely associated with the club’s peak years.

The Courage play at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, a soccer-specific stadium complex opened in 2002 with subsequent renovations and expansions. With an approximate capacity of 10,000, the venue is known for seating that keeps fans close to the action on the pitch. The match day vibe is intimate and supporter-driven, with active sections behind the goals helping set the tone from the opening whistle on.

In the NWSL, certain matchups carry extra heat—especially meetings with Portland Thorns FC, a marquee rivalry between two of the league’s most successful franchises. The Courage also have competitive clashes with the Washington Spirit, plus recurring playoff-caliber battles with OL Reign / Seattle Reign FC. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing North Carolina Courage tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do North Carolina Courage Tickets Cost?

North Carolina Courage tickets typically range from around $20 to $25 for general/end-line seating to $50–$80+ or more for premium midfield sideline seats, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Prices can move based on the opponent (including rivalry matches vs. Portland Thorns FC), the date and day of week, overall demand, promotional nights, and playoff implications. If you’re flexible, less in-demand dates can be a strong way to find value, while rivalry nights tend to be the ones that tighten up first.

No hidden fees. At Box Office Ticket Sales, the price you see is the price you pay. All fees are shown before checkout — no surprise charges when you reach the final step.

Best Seats for North Carolina Courage Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

  • Best value: End-line and corner sections (including supporter areas) — a lively, energetic view at a lower price point
  • Closest to the action: Sideline grandstand seating — feel the pace up close with players and runs developing right in front of you
  • Best overall view: Midfield sideline seats near midfield — ideal sightlines to track spacing, passing lanes, and the full flow of play across the pitch
  • For groups and premium experiences: Club/hospitality areas where available — added comfort and a more private setting for groups or special occasions

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting a high-demand rivalry, it’s smart to coordinate your purchase early so you can prioritize seating together.

Getting Ready for North Carolina Courage Match Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially at a soccer-specific stadium where arrival timing, parking, and entry flow can shape the start of your night.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near WakeMed Soccer Park gets congested on match days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
  • Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
  • Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
  • Public Transit: Use public transit if you can — it's often faster than driving on match day.
  • Parking: On-site parking is available at WakeMed Soccer Park, and lots typically open ahead of match time.
  • Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available near the main entrance.
  • Bag Policy: WakeMed Soccer Park uses a clear-bag policy consistent with standard stadium security; small clutch bags are typically permitted, while larger non-clear bags are prohibited.
  • Payment/Cashless: Bring a card or mobile payment — WakeMed Soccer Park accepts cashless payment at concessions and points of sale.
