Show Information

Wild Kratts - Live is a children's and family live theatrical stage show based on the PBS KIDS animated television series Wild Kratts, created by brothers Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt. The Kratt Brothers also appear in and front the live production, which is presented in association with the Kratt Brothers Company and PBS KIDS.

The show combines live performances with animated video, costumes, and effects that mirror the series' Creature Power Suits. Wild Kratts - Live is currently touring North American performing arts centers and theaters, including scheduled engagements at venues such as the Durham Performing Arts Center and The Hanover Theatre. The performance runs approximately 90 minutes and typically includes one intermission.

The live stage franchise has toured extensively across North America, bringing the Wild Kratts adventure format to audiences in numerous cities. A second touring edition, Wild Kratts Live 2.0: Activate Creature Power!, expanded the live experience with a new adventure, while the underlying Wild Kratts series remains among the most-watched children's programs on PBS KIDS.

A comic mishap launches the action and pulls the audience into the mission. Wild Kratts - Live Seating Guide

Wild Kratts - Live plays touring performing arts centers and theaters across North America, so seating layouts vary by venue. Where you sit can shape how close children feel to the stage action, the projected animation, and the interactive moments.

Best Seats for Wild Kratts - Live

The best seats depend on whether your group wants the closest view of the Kratt Brothers or a wider angle on the full stage picture.

• Best value: Upper mezzanine or rear orchestra sections — these seats often provide a strong view of the stage and animated projection elements while keeping the full production in sight.
• Closest to the stage: Front orchestra sections — these put families nearest to Chris and Martin Kratt, the costumes, and the live-action portions of the performance.
• Best overall experience: Mid-orchestra or front mezzanine sections — these sections usually balance proximity with a clear view of both the performers and the stage projections.
• For families with young children: Aisle seats can make it easier to step out if needed, and the show's approximately 90-minute runtime with one intermission gives families a natural break during the performance.
• For groups: Coordinate contiguous seats early, since blocks in popular family-friendly sections can sell through quickly.

Getting Ready for Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation makes the full experience run smoothly from arrival through the final bow.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cell service around the theater can be congested on busy performance days. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before heading out so you're ready at the door without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard at most theaters. A portable battery pack is worth having, especially if you're combining the show with dinner or other activities.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain. Theater doors open well before the show begins; arriving early gives you time to find your seats and settle in before the house lights go down — and avoids the disruption of late seating, which many theaters restrict.
• Plan for the intermission. Wild Kratts - Live typically includes one intermission, which gives families time for restroom breaks and concessions. Lines can build quickly once the act break begins, so it helps to know your nearest restroom or concession area before the show starts.
• Know the venue's phone and photography policy. Policies vary by venue, and most professional theatrical productions ask audiences to silence phones and refrain from recording or photographing during the performance.
• For families. The show is designed for children and families, with interactive elements aimed at younger audiences. If you're attending with very young children, talk through the live theater setting, audience participation, and 90-minute runtime ahead of time so everyone knows what to expect.
