About North Carolina FC

North Carolina FC bring affordable, family-friendly soccer to the Raleigh–Durham metro area as a member of the USL Championship. Home matches are played at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. Opened in 2002 with a capacity of approximately 10,000, the stadium is known for close sightlines to the pitch and an energetic supporters’ presence. Best Seats for North Carolina FC Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

  • Best value: General admission and behind-goal sections — an affordable way to be in the building with plenty of energy in an intimate stadium
  • Closest to the action: Sideline grandstand seating — stay close to the touchline and feel the pace up close
  • Best overall view: Center sideline seats at midfield — ideal sightlines as play develops across the pitch
  • For groups and premium experiences: Sideline seating in higher-demand areas — a strong option for groups who want a shared view and a central vantage point

If you’re organizing a group outing for a big matchup, it’s smart to shop early so you can keep everyone together in the same section.

Getting Ready for North Carolina FC Match Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially with an active supporters’ section, on-site parking, and pre-kickoff arrivals converging at the same time.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near WakeMed Soccer Park gets congested on match days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.

  • Arrive early. Gates typically open approximately one hour before kickoff.
  • Public Transit: Use public transit if you can — it's often faster than driving on match day.
  • Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup is available at designated areas near the park entrance. Plan your pickup so you’re not scrambling after the final whistle.
  • Bag Policy: WakeMed Soccer Park uses a clear-bag policy; small clutch bags are typically permitted, while larger non-clear bags are prohibited.
  • Bring a card or mobile payment — WakeMed Soccer Park is cashless.
  • Re-entry is not permitted — plan to stay once you're inside.
