Acrisure Arena Tickets

Acrisure Arena Tickets & Events

Acrisure Arena brings major indoor entertainment to the California desert as the first large-scale indoor arena serving the greater Palm Springs and Coachella Valley region. Acrisure Arena tickets connect fans with Coachella Valley Firebirds AHL hockey, touring concerts, comedy, family shows, and other live events in a modern Palm Desert venue built for year-round entertainment.

This page covers everything you need to know before you go — from finding the right seats to getting there, navigating the venue, and buying with confidence.

About Acrisure Arena

Acrisure Arena opened in December 2022 at 75702 Varner Road in Palm Desert, California, just off Interstate 10 in the Cook Street / Varner Road area. Developed by Oak View Group, which also operates the arena, it was built as a privately financed project serving the Coachella Valley. The arena holds approximately 11,000 for concerts, with capacity adjusting for hockey and smaller event configurations.

The venue is home ice for the Coachella Valley Firebirds of the American Hockey League and also hosts concerts across multiple genres, comedy, family shows, and other touring live entertainment. Designed with hockey as a primary focus and convertible layouts for concerts, Acrisure Arena quickly became the region’s premier indoor entertainment destination and brought professional hockey and major touring acts to a market that previously lacked a large-scale indoor venue.

Its modern, air-conditioned indoor design is especially important in the desert climate, giving the Coachella Valley a year-round home for Firebirds games, major concerts, and touring shows.

Location & Transportation

Acrisure Arena is located at 75702 Varner Road, Palm Desert, CA 92211 — just off Interstate 10 in the Cook Street / Varner Road area of the Coachella Valley.

Driving and Parking: Acrisure Arena is primarily a car-access venue, with on-site parking lots serving the arena and major access via Interstate 10. For high-demand concerts and Firebirds games, arriving early is the best way to allow time for traffic near the arena, parking entry, and the walk from the lots before showtime.

Transit: SunLine Transit Agency bus service operates in the area, but the Coachella Valley is a car-oriented region and transit is generally impractical for most attendees. Driving, rideshare, or staying nearby in the resort corridor is usually the most practical approach.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available in designated zones. After high-attendance events, expect longer waits as traffic clears from the arena’s parking areas and nearby roadways.

Nearby Accommodation: Lodging is widely available across the Coachella Valley resort corridor, including Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and Palm Springs. Numerous resorts and hotels are within a short drive, making it convenient to pair an event with a stay in the surrounding desert communities.

Venue Navigation

Acrisure Arena is a modern indoor arena with seating arranged around a hockey rink and convertible floor layouts for concerts. Understanding the basic bowl, suite, and upper seating structure before you arrive helps you move from parking to the concourse and into your section more efficiently.

Entrances and Access: Guests enter from the surrounding parking areas, with the main entrance leading into the arena concourse. Because most attendees arrive by car, your parking area and section location can affect the easiest path into the building.

Concourse Levels: Seating is organized into a lower bowl, upper seating areas, and a suite level. The arena bowl is designed around center ice for hockey and can convert for end-stage concert layouts, so seat orientation and distance can change depending on the event setup.

Accessibility: ADA and accessible seating and services are available throughout the arena. Accessible seating locations are part of the venue’s overall seating inventory and should be selected while browsing available listings.

Getting to Your Section: Signage and staff help direct guests from the concourse to their sections. Since the venue has lot-based access and multiple seating levels, reviewing your section before arrival can make the walk from parking to your seats smoother.

For the easiest event-night timing, plan dinner before heading to the arena and leave extra time for the drive, parking, and security screening.

Security & Policies

Acrisure Arena maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Bag restrictions typically apply at Acrisure Arena. Clear-bag or limited-bag policies are common, and permitted small bags are subject to size limits. Packing light helps speed up entry and reduce delays at screening.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Commonly restricted items include weapons, outside food and drink, professional cameras, and similar prohibited items that present a safety or event-management concern. Event-specific restrictions can also apply.

Re-Entry: Re-entry is typically not permitted once a guest exits Acrisure Arena. Re-entry rules can vary by event and are shown on the event listing.

Entry Procedures: Expect bag checks, security screening, and digital or mobile ticket verification at entry. Arriving with a compliant bag and pre-downloaded tickets helps make the arena entrance process faster.

How Much Do Tickets to Acrisure Arena Cost?

Acrisure Arena ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from AHL hockey to high-demand concert headliners.

For Coachella Valley Firebirds AHL hockey, tickets can start around $20 and commonly range up to about $80, with premium locations and playoff games priced higher. Opponent, matchup, day of week, and overall demand can all affect the final price.

For mid-tier reserved concerts, Acrisure Arena tickets are often in the approximate $40 to $150 range. Seats closer to the stage, stronger lower-bowl sightlines, and higher-demand dates can push prices toward the upper end of that range.

For high-demand concert headliners, tickets can reach $150 or more. Sell-through, artist popularity, and the remaining seat inventory are major drivers for these events, especially when the best lower-bowl and floor options begin to disappear.

Buying earlier generally provides better seat selection and pricing for high-demand concerts and marquee games. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections often rise.

Acrisure Arena Seating Guide

Acrisure Arena seating is designed around a hockey rink, with convertible configurations for concerts and touring events. The venue includes a lower bowl, upper-level seating, and a suite level, so the best section depends on whether you want the closest possible view, strong overall sightlines, or a value-focused seat.

Best Seats at Acrisure Arena

• Best value: Upper-level sections are typically the most affordable areas at Acrisure Arena. They work well for fans who want to be in the building for a Firebirds game or concert while keeping ticket costs lower.
• Closest to the action: Rinkside and floor seating place you closest to the ice or stage. These seats prioritize proximity and energy, especially for hockey, concerts, and high-demand touring events.
• Best overall experience: Lower bowl sections offer strong sightlines and atmosphere for both hockey and concerts. They balance proximity, viewing angle, and crowd energy across many event types.
• Premium and suite options: Acrisure Arena includes 16 luxury suites with private indoor seating, dedicated in-suite catering, and high-definition displays. Premium club areas also accommodate groups looking for an elevated experience.
• For groups: For popular Firebirds games, major concerts, and family shows, coordinating contiguous seats early gives groups more options before inventory tightens.

Getting Ready for Your Acrisure Arena Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical steps make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a car-access arena in the Coachella Valley desert.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the arena entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Parking lots and nearby roadways can congest before showtime for high-demand events in this car-dependent area, so give yourself extra time before puck drop, curtain, or showtime.
• Wear the right footwear. Acrisure Arena has a standard arena concourse and stairs between seating levels, so comfortable shoes make it easier to move from parking to your section and around the building.
• Dress in layers. Desert daytime heat can be extreme much of the year, while the arena interior is air-conditioned. A light layer is useful once you are inside.
• Know your entrance. Knowing your section and parking area in advance helps with the arena’s lot-based access and can make your arrival more efficient.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
