About the New York Red Bulls II

The New York Red Bulls II deliver affordable, family-friendly soccer in the New York metropolitan market while serving as the reserve and developmental affiliate of the New York Red Bulls (Major League Soccer). Founded in 2014 (and beginning play in 2015), the club competes in MLS NEXT Pro and is designed to bridge the Red Bulls Academy to the MLS first team. On the field, Red Bulls II have a standout achievement: the club won the USL regular-season and playoff championship in 2016.

Home matches are played at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field (Montclair State University) in the Montclair area of New Jersey. With an approximate capacity of 5,000, it’s a soccer-specific collegiate facility known for an up-close view of the pitch—ideal for fans who want to watch emerging talent without the distance of a larger venue.

A big part of the experience is seeing young academy prospects, homegrown signings, and reserve first-team players compete for minutes and progress toward MLS. If you’re circling specific dates—like promotional nights or matches that feature notable first-team players on development assignments—browsing New York Red Bulls II tickets early is the smartest move.
