About Lipscomb Bisons Women’s Basketball

Lipscomb Bisons women’s basketball competes at the NCAA Division I level in the ASUN Conference (Atlantic Sun). After Lipscomb University transitioned from the NAIA and became a full NCAA Division I member in 2004, the program has focused on building success in the ASUN, where conference regular-season and tournament championships are the primary path to the NCAA Tournament. Off the court, the Bisons have also earned repeated WBCA Team Academic Award recognition, including being honored for a seventh straight year and ranking among the top Division I programs nationally for academic performance.

The Bisons play at Allen Arena, an on-campus venue that opened in 2001 and seats approximately 5,000 fans. Located at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Allen Arena serves as home to both men’s and women’s basketball and also hosts university events and ceremonies. The smaller, single-bowl setting helps create an intimate environment where you can track every cut, screen, and fast break without feeling far from the court.

Within the ASUN, Lipscomb’s schedule brings high-demand matchups, with the Belmont Bruins rivalry leading the list. Known as the “Battle of the Boulevard,” the Lipscomb–Belmont series is one of the closest geographic rivalries in Division I college basketball and consistently draws strong interest from the Nashville community and both student bodies. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Lipscomb Bisons Women's Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.
