About North Florida Ospreys

North Florida Ospreys basketball competes at the NCAA Division I level in the ASUN Conference (Atlantic Sun). The program became eligible for postseason play in 2009 after UNF’s transition to Division I, and it reached a signature milestone by winning the 2015 Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament to earn the program’s first NCAA Tournament berth. Notable figures connected to the Ospreys’ rise include head coach Matthew Driscoll, standout guard Dallas Moore, and sharpshooter Beau Beech.

The Ospreys play home games at UNF Arena (University of North Florida Arena) in Jacksonville, Florida. Opened in 1993, the arena seats approximately 5,800 fans and sits within the UNF Arena/Student Union complex on the University of North Florida campus. With a single-bowl configuration surrounding the court, it delivers an up-close, energetic environment powered by the student section and local community support.

In ASUN play, matchups that can drive extra intensity and demand include the crosstown River City Rumble against the Jacksonville Dolphins, along with conference battles versus Florida Gulf Coast and in-state rival Stetson. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing North Florida Ospreys tickets early is the smartest move.

North Florida Ospreys Seating at UNF Arena

UNF Arena’s single-bowl layout keeps fans close to the court, with sideline and baseline seating wrapping the action to create an intimate college basketball feel. Whether you want a center-court perspective or a budget-friendly corner, UNF Arena offers a range of seating experiences for different game-day goals.

Best Seats for North Florida Ospreys Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game day experience you're after:

• Best value: Upper and baseline/end sections — elevated looks at the full floor with strong crowd energy at a lower price point
• Closest to the action: Lower-level sideline and baseline seating — feel the pace of the game up close, especially on fast breaks and rebounds
• Best overall view: Center-court sideline sections near courtside — strong sightlines for seeing plays develop across the court
• For groups and premium experiences: Consider buying blocks of seats together in the bowl for a shared view and easy in-and-out with your group

For high-demand matchups (especially rivalry nights), it helps to organize group purchases early so you can keep everyone seated together.

• Parking. On-campus parking lots are available near the arena on game days.
