Columbia Fireflies Tickets

A summer game night in Columbia hits differently at Segra Park—downtown energy in the BullStreet District, a full view of the diamond, and the family-friendly fun that makes Single-A baseball such an easy win. Whether you’ve followed the team for years or you’re planning your first game, Columbia Fireflies tickets put you inside the action from first pitch to the final out.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at Segra Park to knowing what to expect when you arrive on game night.

About the Columbia Fireflies

The Columbia Fireflies bring affordable, family-friendly baseball to Columbia, South Carolina as part of Minor League Baseball’s Carolina League at the Single-A (Low-A) level. Founded in 2016 after relocating from Savannah, Georgia (where the franchise played as the Savannah Sand Gnats), the Fireflies are a key early stop in the player-development journey—helping young talent transition into professional baseball and take the next step in a big-league organization.

As the Single-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, Columbia’s roster is built around early-career prospects in the Royals’ farm system, with frequent movement as players develop and advance. That pipeline focus is part of what makes Fireflies games fun to follow: you’re seeing emerging talent as they work toward higher levels in the organization.

The Fireflies play at Segra Park, a modern downtown ballpark that opened in 2016 in Columbia’s BullStreet District redevelopment. With an approximate capacity of 9,000 (about 7,500 fixed seats plus additional berm and standing-room areas), Segra Park features a 360-degree concourse, a grass outfield berm, and a lively, relaxed atmosphere built for community nights, theme events, and fireworks.

How Much Do Columbia Fireflies Tickets Cost?

Columbia Fireflies tickets typically range from around $10–$12 for general-admission/berm seating to $20–$30 or more for premium reserved seats closest to the field, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Pricing is mainly driven by the opponent, the day of the week (weekend games tend to draw more demand), and special-event nights like promotional themes, fireworks, and giveaways. Seat location matters too—tickets closer to the infield and behind home plate are usually priced higher than value-friendly options like the outfield berm.

No hidden fees. At Box Office Ticket Sales, the price you see is the price you pay. All fees are shown before checkout — no surprise charges when you reach the final step.

Segra Park offers a range of seating experiences for different budgets, group sizes, and game-night goals, with fixed seating wrapping from behind home plate down the baselines plus a grass outfield berm for a relaxed, general-admission vibe.

Best Seats for Columbia Fireflies Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you're after:

• Best value: Outfield berm and upper baseline/general-admission areas — a fun, elevated-feel option with a full-game view and a lower price point
• Closest to the action: Seats closest to home plate and the dugouts — feel the pace of the game up close, from reactions in the field to plays at the bases
• Best overall view: Seats directly behind home plate and along the infield — strong sightlines for seeing plays develop across the diamond
• For groups and premium experiences: Suites and group/party spaces — added comfort and privacy for celebrations, company outings, or bringing a larger crew

If you’re organizing a group night or targeting a high-demand promotional or fireworks date, it’s smart to lock in seats early.

Getting Ready for Columbia Fireflies Game Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially for a lively downtown ballpark setting in the BullStreet District.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Segra Park gets congested on game nights. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Gates typically open approximately one hour before first pitch. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
• Public Transit: Segra Park is accessible via local COMET bus service. If you’re coming from downtown Columbia, public transit can be a convenient option.
• Plan parking ahead: On-site and nearby lots are available in and around the BullStreet District, with additional downtown street and lot parking.
• Plan your rideshare pickup point: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are available near the ballpark entrances in the BullStreet District, and post-game traffic can slow exits.
• Check the bag policy before you go so there are no surprises at the entrance.
