About Augustana Vikings Basketball

Augustana University Vikings men’s basketball competes in NCAA Division II as a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC)—a league widely regarded as one of Division II’s strongest basketball conferences. Based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Augustana represents the university’s long-standing athletics tradition, with the institution tracing its roots to 1860.

On game nights, you’ll most often find the Vikings at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, with additional home games also played at the Elmen Center on the Augustana campus. The Sanford Pentagon’s main court, Heritage Court, seats approximately 3,250 and is known for a distinctive retro, throwback design that nods to classic mid-century basketball gyms.

In NSIC play, regional matchups can drive serious local interest—especially the natural same-city rivalry with the University of Sioux Falls Cougars. If there’s a specific conference or rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Augustana Vikings Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.
