Staying near the interchange is the most direct option for quick access, while Hershey and Harrisburg provide the widest range of accommodations within a short drive.

Dining Options

Inside Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course offers multiple on-site dining and bar options across the casino and racing facility. Guests can choose from sit-down restaurants and casual outlets, with full-service alcohol available on the gaming floor and in restaurants. For event nights, dining on-site can be the easiest option because it keeps you close to the casino, racetrack, and event spaces before showtime.

Outside the Venue — Grantville, Hershey, and Harrisburg

Dining immediately around the venue is more limited because of the rural I-81 setting. Additional restaurants are available in nearby Hershey and Harrisburg, both a short drive from the property. If you are planning dinner before a show or entertainment event, the broader Hershey and Harrisburg areas offer the widest range of options.

Security & Policies

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: As a casino gaming facility, bags may be subject to inspection on entry. Bringing only what you need and keeping bags simple can help speed up the screening process.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Weapons and outside alcohol are typically prohibited. Casino gaming areas are restricted to guests 21 and older, and items deemed a safety concern by venue security may be refused at entry.

Entry Procedures: Guests entering gaming areas must be 21 or older and may be asked for valid photo identification. Standard casino security screening applies, and arriving with a compliant bag and pre-downloaded tickets helps make entry faster.
