About Emerald Queen Casino

Emerald Queen Casino is a multi-purpose tribal gaming and entertainment complex at 2024 E 29th Street in Tacoma, Washington. The Puyallup Tribe's Emerald Queen gaming operations date to the 1990s, and the current flagship Emerald Queen Casino complex off I-5 opened in 2020 as a roughly $400 million rebuild. Owned and operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, the property includes gaming floors, multiple restaurants, bars, and a dedicated indoor showroom/event center that seats approximately 2,000 for concerts and boxing, with configurations varying by event.

The venue is long regarded as one of the leading casino entertainment destinations in the South Puget Sound region. Its showroom hosts touring musicians across classic rock, R&B, soul, Latin, country, oldies, legacy pop, comedy, professional boxing, combat-sports cards, and special casino entertainment events. The room is known for a steady calendar of touring acts and a notable history of professional boxing.

For fans who prefer a more intimate live-event environment than a large arena, Emerald Queen Casino offers close proximity to the stage or ring inside a full casino resort setting.

Entrances and Access: Main entry is through the casino complex, with the showroom/event center accessed from inside the property. Guests commonly pass through casino floor areas before reaching the entertainment space.

Seating Levels: The showroom is a single-level seated or club-style room with reserved seating configurations that vary by event. Concerts may use theater-style seating, while boxing events can feature ringside layouts, floor seating, and table-style arrangements.

Accessibility: Emerald Queen Casino is wheelchair-accessible, with accessible parking, accessible restrooms, and standard ADA accommodations. The complex also offers air conditioning and accepts credit cards.

How Much Do Tickets to Emerald Queen Casino Cost?

Emerald Queen Casino ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or fighter, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from comedy shows to professional boxing and combat-sports cards.

For concerts featuring legacy and touring acts, tickets are often in the approximately $40 to $150 range, with marquee headliners pushing higher depending on demand and seat location.

Comedy shows at Emerald Queen Casino typically run around $35 to $100, with pricing driven by performer draw, date, and proximity to the stage.

Professional boxing and combat-sports tickets can range from approximately $40 to $200 or more depending on the card and how close the seat is to ringside.

Buying earlier generally secures better seat locations and pricing for popular shows. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for marquee headliners, high-demand comedy dates, and major fight cards.

Getting Ready for Your Emerald Queen Casino Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a casino complex where guests move through the property to reach the showroom.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arrive early to allow time for parking and moving through the casino to the showroom; lots can fill on busy event nights.
• Wear the right footwear. The casino and showroom environment is primarily flat, indoor, and climate-controlled, with minimal walking required, but comfortable shoes still make moving through the property easier.
• Dress for an indoor venue. Weather is not a major factor once inside Emerald Queen Casino, though the gaming areas have historically been noted as smoky.
• Know your entrance. The showroom/event center is inside the casino complex, so reviewing your event details before arriving helps you move through the property efficiently.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
