About Lehigh Mountain Hawks Women's Basketball

Lehigh Mountain Hawks Women’s Basketball competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Patriot League, representing Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The program’s history dates back to the early 1980s (with records from the 1981–82 season), and it has reached the NCAA Division I Tournament with appearances including 1997 and a return in 2025 as a No. 15 seed in the Birmingham 1 Region. Under head coach Addie Micir, a former Lehigh standout who returned to lead the program, the Mountain Hawks have built a reputation for competing at the top of the league.

A defining recent milestone came in 2025, when Lehigh captured the Patriot League Tournament championship and earned an NCAA Tournament bid after finishing 27–6 overall and 15–3 in conference play. Across the program’s 45 seasons since 1981–82, the Mountain Hawks’ all-time record stands around 663–627. The program has also produced multiple All–Patriot League honorees during its conference era.

Home games are played at Stabler Arena, a multi-purpose venue opened in 1979 with an approximate capacity of 5,600. Located on Lehigh’s Goodman Campus, Stabler hosts basketball along with concerts and community events, and it’s known for an intimate environment where student and local support can make key moments feel even bigger. For fans who want to be close to the court and feel every run, Stabler Arena is built for a true college basketball experience.

In the Patriot League, Lehigh’s defining rivalry is Lafayette — the Lehigh–Lafayette Rivalry is one of the oldest and most-played rivalries in college sports and carries across all sports, including women’s basketball. Matchups with Bucknell and American are also recurring conference tests and frequent postseason obstacles. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Lehigh Mountain Hawks Women's Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.
