About Lafayette Basketball

Lafayette men’s basketball competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Patriot League, a conference the program has been part of since the league’s early era (formed in 1986 as the Colonial League and renamed the Patriot League in 1990). The Leopards have reached the NCAA Tournament multiple times, with appearances that include 1957, 1999, 2000, and 2015, highlighted by the team’s 2015 Patriot League Tournament championship that secured an automatic NCAA bid. If you’re shopping Lafayette Leopards Basketball tickets for a big conference date, those tournament stakes are a big part of what makes the season exciting.

Home games are played at Kirby Sports Center (Allan P. Kirby Sports Center) in Easton, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1973, the on-campus facility has an intimate capacity of approximately 3,500, creating a close-to-the-court feel that can get loud fast for Patriot League and rivalry nights. Kirby Sports Center is a multi-purpose athletic hub that also includes fitness and recreation spaces and athletic offices, making it a central part of Lafayette’s campus sports culture.

In league play, Patriot League standings and postseason positioning can turn late-season games into must-see events, but rivalry matchups are always in demand. The signature draw is Lafayette vs. Lehigh, an extension of “The Rivalry” that runs across Lafayette–Lehigh athletics and is especially intense when the Leopards and Mountain Hawks meet in Patriot League basketball. Games against conference rivals like Bucknell and Colgate can also carry added significance. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Lafayette Leopards Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Lafayette Leopards Basketball Tickets Cost?

Lafayette Leopards Basketball tickets typically range from around $10 to $25 for general and reserved seating at most home games to $25 or more for higher-demand matchups, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Several factors can push prices toward the top of the range, especially the opponent (with the Lehigh rivalry drawing strong demand), the date and day of week, and how the game connects to Patriot League standings and postseason implications. If you’re price-shopping, earlier-season games and less in-demand dates can be a smart way to grab strong value while still getting a great on-campus atmosphere.
