About Gannon Golden Knights Football

Gannon Golden Knights Football competes at the NCAA Division II level in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Based in Erie, Pennsylvania, Gannon plays in one of the oldest and most competitive Division II conferences in the country, lining up weekly against regional opponents with plenty of familiarity on both sidelines.

The Golden Knights represent Gannon University, a private Catholic university in Erie, and they take the field in maroon and gold. Within the conference structure, Gannon competes in the PSAC West division, where schedules are built around in-state matchups and road trips that are often easy for visiting fans to travel.

PSAC rivalries can drive fast-moving ticket demand, and for Gannon, the Mercyhurst Lakers stand out as the most geographically significant matchup—both programs are located in Erie. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Gannon Golden Knights Football tickets early is the smartest move.

Getting Ready for Gannon Golden Knights Football Game Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially when you want your entry and arrival to feel as smooth as the rest of the day.

Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near the Stadium gets congested on game days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
Use public transit if you can — it's often faster than driving on game day.
Plan your rideshare pickup point — post-game pickups near the Stadium can take longer than expected.
Check the bag policy before you go so there are no surprises at the entrance.
