About Findlay Oilers Basketball

The University of Findlay Oilers compete in men’s basketball at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) (after competing in the GLIAC beginning in 1997). The University of Findlay itself was founded in 1882, and the Oilers represent the school in orange and black.

On the court, Findlay has been a consistent NCAA Division II competitor, with regular appearances in conference postseason play and NCAA Division II Tournament participation. In a recent season, the Oilers earned a No. 8 national ranking and advanced to the round of 32 in the NCAA Division II Championship.

Home games are played at Croy Gymnasium (Croy Physical Education Center), an on-campus Arena that also serves as home for Oilers basketball and volleyball. With an approximate capacity of 2,000, the setting keeps you close to the court and makes for a high-engagement college basketball experience.
