About Augustana Vikings Hockey

Augustana Vikings Hockey is Augustana University’s NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey program, competing in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). The Vikings began Division I play in the fall of 2023, making Augustana one of the newest D-I college hockey programs in the country and a fast-rising addition to the league. The program is led by inaugural head coach Garrett Raboin, hired to build Augustana’s Division I team from the ground up.

Vikings hockey plays at Midco Arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Opened in 2023, the arena was purpose-built on campus as part of Augustana’s Division I launch and features modern amenities and dedicated team spaces. With an approximately 3,000 capacity and close proximity to the ice, Midco Arena delivers an intimate, high-energy college hockey experience—especially with an energetic student presence in the building.

In the CCHA, matchups help shape early rivalries and can drive ticket demand—especially regional games and conference showdowns. Augustana’s developing rivalry landscape includes Nebraska Omaha, St. Thomas, and CCHA opponents like Bemidji State, Minnesota State, and Bowling Green. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Augustana Vikings Hockey tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Augustana Vikings Hockey Tickets Cost?

Augustana Vikings Hockey tickets typically range from around $10 to $30 for general and reserved seating to $30 or more for higher-demand center-ice seats, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Several factors can move prices up or down, including the opponent, the day of the week, overall demand, and seat location relative to center ice. Conference rivalries and highly anticipated matchups tend to be in higher demand, while fans looking for value often focus on less in-demand dates and seat locations farther from center ice.
