Its proscenium theater configuration has a maximum seating capacity of approximately 786.

Location & Transportation

McCoy Center is located at 100 W. Dublin-Granville Road, New Albany, OH 43054 — on a suburban campus in New Albany, northeast of Columbus.

Driving and Parking: Access is primarily by car. The venue’s school-campus setting supports on-site or adjacent campus parking typical of a school-based performing arts center, so allowing extra time for arrival and parking is a smart move for well-attended performances.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are workable around the suburban campus location and parking areas. After a busy event, building in a few extra minutes can make pickup smoother as audience traffic clears.

Nearby Accommodation: Lodging options are available in New Albany, Westerville, Gahanna, and the broader northeast Columbus suburbs. Additional hotel choices can be found toward the Easton area and central Columbus for visitors making a longer trip around a McCoy Center event.

Venue Navigation

McCoy Center is an intimate proscenium theater, so the most important navigation step is understanding your seat location before you arrive. With a maximum capacity of approximately 786, the venue offers a more compact performing arts experience than larger Columbus-area arenas and theaters.

How Much Do Tickets to McCoy Center Cost?

McCoy Center ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the performing act or production, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from school and community performances to touring musical acts and stage productions.

McCoy Center ticket prices vary based on the event, seat location, and demand. Premium and lower-level seats are in high demand, while upper-level sections offer strong value.

For higher-demand performances in an intimate venue of under 800 seats, buying earlier generally secures better seat selection and availability. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, the best remaining seats can become harder to find.

McCoy Center Seating Guide

McCoy Center uses a proscenium theater configuration, which makes sightline and distance from the stage important factors when choosing tickets. Its approximately 786-seat capacity gives audiences a more intimate setting for concerts, productions, recitals, and special events.

Best Seats at McCoy Center

• Best value: Seats farther from the stage can offer a strong overall view of the performance while keeping the experience accessible for more budgets.
• Closest to the action: Seats nearest the stage place you as close as possible to the performers, which can be especially appealing for concerts, recitals, and stage productions.
• Best overall experience: Centered seats at a comfortable distance from the stage often provide a balanced mix of sightline, sound, and atmosphere in a proscenium theater setting.

Getting Ready for Your McCoy Center Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a suburban campus venue where most guests arrive by car.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. As a suburban campus venue reliant on car access, arriving early gives you time for parking and entry, particularly for well-attended performances.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Since most guests travel by car, a little added arrival time helps reduce stress around parking and getting inside before the performance begins.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
