About Mayo Civic Center Arena

Mayo Civic Center Arena is part of the larger Mayo Civic Center campus at 30 Civic Center Drive SE in Rochester, Minnesota. The original Mayo Civic Auditorium dates to the late 1930s, and the complex has grown through multiple expansions, including a major renovation and expansion completed in 2017. Owned by the City of Rochester and managed by Oak View Group, the arena functions as the facility's primary indoor ticketed-seating hall, with capacity of approximately 7,200 for arena events depending on layout.

The venue is central to Rochester's live-events and convention scene. Its event mix includes concerts across genres, live music, dance and stage performances, family entertainment, sporting events, trade shows, conventions, graduations, and community gatherings. Because Rochester is home to the Mayo Clinic, the downtown area supports a large visitor base, and the Mayo Civic Center benefits from that steady flow of guests, conferences, and public events.

The arena is known as the spectator-bowl component of a multi-building civic campus that also includes an auditorium, theater, and extensive exhibition and meeting space.

Getting to Your Section: Staff and signage help direct guests to seating areas inside the arena. Because the Mayo Civic Center includes multiple halls on one downtown campus, reading your event listing and ticket details before arrival can save time as you move from the entrance into the arena area.

How Much Do Tickets to Mayo Civic Center Arena Cost?

Mayo Civic Center Arena ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist or team, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from family shows and community events to concerts and live music.

For concerts and live music, tickets are typically around $35 to $125 depending on the act, seating location, and event configuration. Higher-demand performers and preferred seating areas can drive prices toward the upper end of that range.

For family shows and community events, tickets can start around $20 and often range up to about $60. These events can offer strong value for groups, families, and guests looking for an accessible downtown Rochester outing.
