Getting Ready for Your Buckley Park Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor venue like this in downtown Durango.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Popular summer concerts and festivals can draw strong crowds, and downtown Durango parking and lawn space fill during peak evening hours.
• Wear the right footwear. Buckley Park is a grass-lawn park setting with flat, casual outdoor terrain, so comfortable shoes are a good choice for walking, standing, and settling into the lawn.
• Dress in layers. Buckley Park is fully outdoors in a mountain town, and summer evenings can cool off after sunset. Layers help you stay comfortable throughout the event.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Arriving early helps with downtown parking and gives you more time to choose your lawn area before peak crowds arrive.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
