About Acrisure Amphitheater

Acrisure Amphitheater is a new outdoor amphitheatre located at 201 Market Ave SW in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Groundbreaking was celebrated in May 2024, and the first concert season is scheduled to begin in May 2026. The venue is designed for a capacity of approximately 12,000+ and is part of a broader downtown riverfront redevelopment along the Grand River. Grand Action 2.0 led development of the project in partnership with the City of Grand Rapids, with programming and operations managed in partnership with a major concert promoter. Naming rights are held by Acrisure.

The venue is positioned as a signature riverfront entertainment destination for Grand Rapids and West Michigan. Its programming model is centered on live music across genres, with expected events including headliner touring acts, comedy, and family or entertainment shows. As an outdoor seasonal venue, Acrisure Amphitheater is expected to operate primarily from spring through fall, beginning with its inaugural season in May 2026.

Acrisure Amphitheater is known for bringing a large-scale outdoor concert setting to downtown Grand Rapids’ riverfront.

How Much Do Tickets to Acrisure Amphitheater Cost?

Acrisure Amphitheater ticket prices vary widely depending on the type of event, the artist, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from smaller concerts and outdoor entertainment shows to high-demand headliners.

For concerts with general admission, lawn-style availability, or smaller-show pricing, lower-tier tickets can start as low as roughly $30–$60, depending on the act and demand.

Mid-tier reserved concert seats typically fall in the roughly $60–$150 range. These listings often balance price, view, and proximity for fans who want a reserved spot without moving into the highest-demand areas.

For high-demand headliners, premium and high-end reserved seats can run $150–$300 or more. Artist popularity, tour demand, seat location, day of week, and overall inventory all influence where prices land.

Buying earlier generally secures better seat selection and pricing for high-demand shows. As inventory shrinks and the event date approaches, prices for the best remaining sections can rise, especially for marquee artists and peak summer dates.

Acrisure Amphitheater Seating Guide

Acrisure Amphitheater is designed as an outdoor concert venue, so the best seating choice depends on the event, your budget, and how close you want to be to the stage. Seating configurations can vary by show, especially when general admission areas are used.

Best Seats at Acrisure Amphitheater

• Best value: Upper or farther-back areas — these seats typically offer a more accessible price point while still keeping you inside the outdoor concert atmosphere.
• Closest to the action: Floor, front, or lower reserved areas — these seats put you nearest the stage and are usually among the highest-demand options for major headliners.
• Best overall experience: Mid-range reserved areas — these often give fans a strong balance of sightline, proximity, and atmosphere without moving into the most premium price tier.
• General admission: When available, general admission areas offer a more flexible outdoor concert experience, especially for fans who prefer a festival-style feel.

Getting Ready for Your Acrisure Amphitheater Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at an outdoor venue along the downtown Grand Rapids riverfront.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the gate without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for downtown parking and entry, especially for major headliners, as lots and ramps fill before show time.
• Wear the right footwear. As an outdoor amphitheatre with likely lawn or general-admission areas, expect some walking and potentially uneven or sloped ground. Comfortable shoes are a smart choice.
• Dress in layers. Outdoor riverfront conditions in West Michigan can change, and spring or fall evenings can bring temperature drops. Bring layers and check the forecast for rain before you leave.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Downtown parking areas can become busy before major shows, so leaving early helps reduce stress and gives you more flexibility before the event starts.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
