About Wagner Seahawks Basketball

Wagner Seahawks Basketball competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Northeast Conference (NEC), bringing Staten Island a proud, hard-nosed brand of college basketball. The Seahawks men’s program has been part of the NEC since 1981 and has captured multiple NEC regular-season and tournament titles, with NCAA Tournament appearances in 2003 and 2024. Notable program figures include Dan Hurley, Bashir Mason, and Latrell Wrightsell, along with a long list of NEC All-Conference selections over the decades.

Wagner plays at Spiro Sports Center on Staten Island, New York. Opened in 1999, the on-campus Arena seats approximately 2,100 fans and serves as home to Wagner basketball and volleyball. The compact seating bowl keeps fans close to the court, creating the kind of student-driven environment that can swing momentum during key NEC stretches.

Within the NEC, rivalry and regional matchups help drive ticket demand—especially against Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU), St. Francis Brooklyn, and LIU, with additional local games against programs like Saint Peter’s adding to the calendar’s intensity. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Wagner Seahawks Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.

Wagner Seahawks Basketball tickets typically range from around $10 to $25 for general admission and reserved seating to $25–$25 or more for premium courtside or high-demand conference matchups, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Prices are most influenced by the opponent and the spot on the schedule. Rivalry games against Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU), LIU, and St. Francis Brooklyn can raise demand, and games with conference tournament implications often move faster—especially as the day of week and overall interest shift from one date to the next.
