About Le Moyne Lacrosse

Le Moyne men’s lacrosse competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC), bringing a proud lacrosse tradition to the D-I level beginning with the 2023–24 academic year. Before the move up, the Dolphins were a premier NCAA Division II program, winning multiple NCAA Division II national championships — including standout title seasons in 2004 and 2015 — and making numerous NCAA Division II tournament appearances with multiple trips to the national title game.

The Dolphins’ identity is closely tied to Central New York lacrosse culture, and longtime head coach Dan Sheehan has been a defining figure through the program’s championship era and its Division I transition. Over the years, Le Moyne lacrosse has produced numerous All-Americans and professional lacrosse players, built on a competitive standard that continues as the program establishes itself in NEC play.

On game day, Le Moyne hosts at Ted Grant Field, an on-campus turf facility used for lacrosse and other outdoor sports at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. The setting is intimate and energetic, with a loyal local following that reflects the region’s deep investment in the sport.

In addition to building new conference rivalries in the NEC, Le Moyne has a natural local reference point in Syracuse University, one of the sport’s most recognizable programs. NEC matchups — including games against the Robert Morris Colonials and other conference opponents — can drive strong demand, so if there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Le Moyne Dolphins tickets early is the smartest move.

Getting Ready for Le Moyne Dolphins Game Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially on a campus venue where traffic flow and arrival timing can change quickly on game days.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Ted Grant Field gets congested on game days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
• Public Transit: Centro bus routes connect the Le Moyne campus to the greater Syracuse area, making transit a convenient option for getting to and from campus.
• Plan for parking. On-campus parking lots are available near the athletic facilities, so it helps to arrive with time to park and walk in.
• Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off is available at campus access points. Plan a clear pickup spot for after the game, when post-event traffic can slow things down.
