About Pittsburgh Riveters SC

Pittsburgh Riveters SC launched their inaugural campaign in 2025, bringing women’s professional soccer to Pittsburgh. As a new club, the Riveters have built an early identity around local player development, featuring signings connected to Western Pennsylvania’s soccer pipeline. Early names tied to that local-first approach include Aris Lamanna (Franklin Regional) and other regional additions with WPIAL and Riverhounds Development Academy connections.

Home matches are played at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, a riverfront venue on the South Side along the Monongahela River. Opened in 2013, Highmark Stadium holds approximately 5,000 fans and is designed for a tight, soccer-forward viewing experience. The stadium’s single-bowl layout and close sightlines help create a strong community feel, and the Riveters’ inaugural match ranked among the most-attended events in the stadium’s history.

A key early rivalry has already taken shape with Steel City FC in a Pittsburgh-area derby. With derby matchups driving strong local interest, these dates can become some of the toughest tickets on the schedule. If there’s a specific rivalry match you’re targeting, browsing Pittsburgh Riveters SC tickets early is the smartest move.
