About Forge FC

Forge FC is a professional soccer club in the Canadian Premier League (CPL), founded in 2018 and launched into competition in the CPL’s inaugural 2019 season. The club quickly established itself as the league’s benchmark, winning the inaugural 2019 CPL championship and adding another title in 2020—building a reputation as the CPL’s most decorated team. Key figures in the club’s story include long-serving captain Kyle Bekker, 2019 league MVP and Golden Boot winner Tristan Borges, founding head coach Bobby Smyrniotis, and championship-era midfielder Alexander Achinioti-Jönsson.

Forge play home matches at Hamilton Stadium (also referred to as Tim Hortons Field) in Hamilton, Ontario. Opened in 2014, the modern multi-purpose stadium was built for the 2015 Pan American Games and holds approximately 23,000 fans (with soccer configurations often reduced). On match day, the atmosphere is intimate and community-driven, with dedicated supporters’ sections helping set the tone from kickoff to the final whistle.

Forge FC’s biggest ticket-demand drivers often come from rivalry and high-stakes matchups. The club’s most significant rivalry is with Cavalry FC—fueled by repeated meetings at the top of the table and in CPL Finals. Matches with York United FC also carry regional “905 Derby” energy. Forge’s Canadian Championship fixtures, including games against MLS-based Canadian clubs like Toronto FC and CF Montréal, can be especially high-profile. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Forge FC tickets early is the smartest move.

Hamilton Stadium offers a range of seating experiences for different budgets, group sizes, and match day goals. With the primary seating along the sidelines and supporters driving energy throughout the venue, your seat choice can shape everything from your sightline to how immersed you feel in the chants and rhythms of the match.

Best Seats for Forge FC Games

The right seat depends on what kind of match day experience you're after:

• Best value: End-zone/behind-goal and upper sideline sections — a full-stadium perspective with strong atmosphere at a lower price point
• Closest to the action: Lower-level sideline seats — feel the pace up close as plays build along the pitch
• Best overall view: Midfield/center sideline seats in the main (west) grandstand — excellent sightlines near midfield, with a clear view of how the match develops across the pitch
• For groups and premium experiences: Club and suite/premium seating in the west grandstand — added comfort and a great setup for hosting clients, friends, or family

If you’re coordinating a group outing or targeting a high-demand rivalry, it’s smart to organize your seat block early so everyone can sit together.

Getting Ready for Forge FC Match Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially in a busy stadium environment where entry lines and surrounding streets can fill up closer to kickoff.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Hamilton Stadium gets congested on match days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
• Public transit: Hamilton Stadium is served by Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus routes, with event-day transit service commonly running to the stadium.
• Rideshare: Use the designated pickup/drop-off areas near the stadium on match days, and plan ahead for post-match congestion.
• Bag policy: The venue uses a clear-bag policy; small clutch/medical bags are permitted within posted size limits, while larger bags and backpacks are generally prohibited.
• Payment: Bring a card or mobile payment — Hamilton Stadium is cashless.
• Re-entry: Re-entry is not permitted — plan to stay once you're inside.
