About Columbia College Koalas

Columbia College fields intercollegiate tennis teams known as the Koalas, competing in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). The program includes both men’s and women’s teams—often referred to as Koala Tennis and Lady Koala Tennis—representing Columbia College in conference and regional competition.

As an AAC program, Columbia College tennis tests itself against conference opponents throughout the season, including matchups that carry added intensity in tournament settings. Recent results reflect the Koalas competing in AAC postseason play, with the men’s team earning a top conference seed and reaching the AAC Quarterfinals against Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and the women’s team also appearing in AAC tournament action.

One thing that immediately stands out is the identity: the Koalas nickname is distinctive in college athletics and gives Columbia College a recognizable brand on match day. If there’s a specific conference matchup you’re targeting, browsing Columbia College Koalas tickets early is a smart way to secure the date and seating area you want.
