About The Astro - NE

The Astro - NE opened in 2023 at 8302 City Centre Drive in La Vista, Nebraska, within the La Vista City Centre development. The complex is programmed and operated in partnership with One Percent Productions, a longtime Omaha-area concert promoter. Its outdoor amphitheater accommodates roughly 5,000 guests, while the indoor theater holds approximately 1,600, with capacity varying by configuration.

The venue operates primarily as a live-music destination, hosting national touring acts across rock, indie, country, Americana, and more. Its dual-space design allows shows to scale between the more intimate indoor theater and the larger open-air amphitheater, while luxury spaces support private events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

Known for state-of-the-art acoustics, audio, and lighting, The Astro - NE has quickly established itself as one of the leading live-music destinations in the greater Omaha metro.

Location & Transportation

The Astro - NE is located at 8302 City Centre Drive, La Vista, NE 68128 — inside the walkable La Vista City Centre mixed-use district in the Omaha metro.

Driving and Parking: Most patrons arrive by car. Parking is available in and around the La Vista City Centre development, and arriving early is advisable for popular shows because nearby lots can fill before showtime.

Transit: La Vista is a suburban community with limited fixed-route transit, so transit is less practical than driving or rideshare for most events.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are practical in the car-oriented suburban setting. After sold-out shows, expect brief post-event waits as crowds exit the indoor theater or amphitheater.

Nearby Accommodation: Hotels are available within the La Vista City Centre area and along nearby corridors in La Vista, Papillion, and the broader Omaha metro, giving out-of-town visitors several options for staying close to the venue.

Venue Navigation

The Astro - NE includes multiple event environments within one complex, including an indoor theater, an outdoor amphitheater, and smaller luxury or private-event spaces. Understanding which area is hosting your event helps with arrival timing, entry, and seating expectations.

Entrances and Access: The complex includes separate entry points for the indoor theater and the outdoor amphitheater, with additional access to smaller luxury and private spaces. Event listings and ticket details identify the event area so guests can plan for the appropriate entrance.

Seating Levels: The outdoor amphitheater offers open-air reserved and general-admission areas depending on the event. The indoor theater uses a more intimate seated or standing configuration, giving the venue flexibility for different concert formats.

Getting to Your Section: Staff and signage direct guests between the theater and amphitheater areas. For outdoor GA events, plan for standing and walking areas, and give yourself extra time to move through entry screening before the show begins.

How Much Do Tickets to The Astro - NE Cost?

The Astro - NE ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist, seating section, and demand — which is what you'd expect from a venue that hosts everything from smaller indoor theater shows to high-demand amphitheater headliners.

For smaller indoor theater shows and general-admission events, tickets can start as low as approximately $25–$45, depending on the performer and availability.

For mid-tier reserved concerts, tickets typically fall around $45–$85, with prices influenced by reserved versus general-admission access, seat location, and date.

Best Seats at The Astro - NE

• Best value: General-admission and rear or lawn-style areas in the amphitheater are typically the most affordable options, offering open-air flexibility at a lower price point.

Getting Ready for Your The Astro - NE Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially at a venue with both indoor theater shows and open-air amphitheater events.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Arrive early for popular shows because nearby parking can fill, and plan extra time for entry screening before the performance begins.
• Wear the right footwear. The outdoor amphitheater involves open-air standing and walking areas, so comfortable footwear is advisable for GA events.
• Dress in layers. The amphitheater is open-air and exposed to heat, rain, and evening temperature swings, so check the forecast and dress in layers for outdoor shows.
• Build extra time into your transit plan. Most patrons arrive by car, and popular shows can create parking and entry delays around La Vista City Centre.
• Know your entrance. The indoor theater and outdoor amphitheater have distinct entrances, and your event listing or ticket details identify the event area before you arrive.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
