About Bellco Theatre

Bellco Theatre is a mid-sized indoor performance venue located inside the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Opened in 2004 as part of the Convention Center expansion, it is owned by the City and County of Denver, and the Colorado Convention Center is managed by ASM Global. The theater holds approximately 5,000 guests in a theater-style seating bowl oriented toward a single stage, with configurations that can be adjusted for smaller setups.

The venue is known for hosting a steady stream of entertainment-forward events, including concerts across multiple genres, stand-up comedy, touring stage shows, podcasts/live tapings, and special events. It has welcomed major touring acts and comedians including Jerry Seinfeld, and it’s widely regarded as a strong downtown option for performances that benefit from an enclosed room and a close-to-the-stage feel.

If you’re searching for Bellco Theatre tickets, you’re planning a downtown Denver night built around a true performance-focused room.

Location & Transportation

Bellco Theatre is located at 1100 Stout Street, Denver, CO 80204 — inside the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.

Transit: Transit is a practical option here thanks to the venue’s downtown location. RTD light rail serves nearby stations, and the Theatre District/Convention Center stop is adjacent. Numerous bus routes and the free 16th Street Mall shuttle are also within a short walk.

Driving and Parking: The Colorado Convention Center offers an on-site parking garage (with an entrance in the Champa/Stout area), and you’ll also find many additional garages and surface lots throughout downtown. For major events, downtown lots can fill and pricing typically rises, so arriving early helps.

Rideshare: Rideshare drop-off and pickup are convenient in central downtown, but it’s smart to expect some congestion on surrounding streets when large shows let out.

Nearby Accommodation: Downtown Denver has dense lodging options, including hotels adjacent to or connected with the Convention Center (including the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center) plus many more choices along the 16th Street Mall and LoDo.

Venue Navigation

Because Bellco Theatre sits within the larger Colorado Convention Center complex, it helps to understand your entry path and seating level before you arrive—especially on busy event nights when multiple events may be happening nearby.

Entrances and Access: Guests enter through the Colorado Convention Center, then follow signage to the theater’s dedicated lobby and entrance areas within the complex. Event-day wayfinding is designed to guide attendees from the main Convention Center entrances to Bellco Theatre.

Seating Levels: Bellco Theatre uses a theater-style seating bowl with lower and upper seating sections, all oriented toward a single stage.

Accessibility: ADA-accessible seating, restrooms, and services are available as part of the modern Convention Center facility. Accessible parking is offered in the on-site garage.

Dining Options

Inside Bellco Theatre

Concessions and bars are available within the venue/Colorado Convention Center, offering standard event fare and alcoholic beverages. For the smoothest experience, consider grabbing food and drinks before the busiest pre-show rush.

Outside the Venue — Downtown Denver

Bellco Theatre is surrounded by downtown dining, with plenty of options within walking distance. Popular nearby areas include restaurants along the 16th Street Mall, the Theatre District, and LoDo, making it easy to plan dinner or drinks before heading into the Convention Center.

Security & Policies

Bellco Theatre maintains security and venue policies that are updated regularly and may vary by event. Before attending, reviewing the current policy on the venue's official website is strongly recommended.

Bag Policy: Bag restrictions and size limits typically apply and can vary by event. Smaller bags are generally permitted subject to search, and checking the specific event’s requirements helps you avoid delays.

Commonly Prohibited Items: Items commonly restricted include weapons, outside food and drink, professional/recording cameras, and other items that may be deemed a safety risk. Specific restrictions can vary by performer or event.

Re-Entry: Re-entry policies vary by event and are often restricted once a show has begun. If you think you may need to exit and return, confirm the policy for your specific event.

Entry Procedures: Expect security screening, bag checks, and digital ticket scanning at entry. Bringing a compliant bag and having tickets ready on your phone helps speed up the process.

How Much Do Tickets to Bellco Theatre Cost?

Bellco Theatre ticket prices vary significantly depending on the type of event, the artist or performer, seating section, and demand — which is what you’d expect from a venue that hosts everything from touring comedy shows to high-demand concert headliners.

For mid-tier concerts, tickets can often start around $40–$100, with price differences driven by section location and overall demand for the date.

For high-demand headliners, pricing commonly climbs into the $100–$250+ range, especially for the most desirable locations closer to the stage.

For comedy and touring shows, tickets are often priced around $45–$150, with premium seats and high-profile names trending higher.

Buying earlier generally gives you better seat selection and pricing for popular events, which can sell out. As inventory tightens and the event date approaches, the best remaining sections tend to rise in price.

Getting Ready for Your Bellco Theatre Event
