About Utah Utes Softball

Utah competes at the NCAA Division I level and moved into the Big 12 Conference beginning with the 2024–25 athletic year after departing the Pac-12. Utah softball has been a consistent postseason presence over the years, regularly earning berths in the NCAA Tournament and advancing to the Women’s College World Series in 1994. Notable figures tied to the program include Hannah Flippen, a standout infielder who earned All-America and all-conference honors during her Utah career.

The Utes play home games at Dumke Family Softball Stadium in Salt Lake City. Opened in 2014 with an approximate capacity of 1,500, it’s an on-campus venue known for a modern, close-to-the-action layout.
