About the Trois-Rivieres Lions

The Trois-Rivières Lions bring professional “AA”-level hockey to Trois-Rivières, Québec as members of the ECHL. Founded in 2021, the Lions joined the league as an expansion franchise for the 2021–22 season, and they compete in the Eastern Conference, North Division. Like other ECHL clubs, the Lions play an important developmental role in the hockey pipeline, operating under NHL/AHL affiliation agreements that can change year to year.

Trois-Rivières plays its home schedule at Colisée Vidéotron in Trois-Rivières. With a capacity of approximately 4,000, the arena is known for delivering an up-close ECHL experience where you can track the pace of play from nearly anywhere in the building. Opened originally in 1938 and later undergoing significant modernization, Colisée Vidéotron blends a historic footprint with updates designed to support professional hockey.

As a French-speaking Québec-based club, the Lions draw on the region’s deep hockey culture with a local, community-oriented fan base supporting one of the few Canadian ECHL franchises in Québec. If you’re targeting a specific matchup on the home schedule, browsing Trois-Rivieres Lions tickets early is a smart way to get the seat location and price point you want.
