Reading Royals Tickets

Few live sports experiences feel as up-close as minor-league hockey in a downtown arena, where the action is fast, the crowd is close, and the night is built around community energy. Whether you’ve followed the team for years or you’re planning your first game, Reading Royals tickets put you inside the ECHL atmosphere at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at Santander Arena to knowing what to expect when you arrive on game night.

About the Reading Royals

The Reading Royals bring affordable, family-friendly hockey to Reading, Pennsylvania as a proud member of the ECHL. Founded in 2001, the Royals have been a consistent part of the league’s Eastern Conference landscape, delivering competitive “AA”-level professional hockey while helping develop players working toward AHL and NHL opportunities.

The Royals play at Santander Arena in downtown Reading, a multi-purpose venue that has been the team’s home since the franchise’s inception. Opened in 2001 and seating approximately 7,000 for hockey, the arena creates an intimate, community-centered environment where you can feel the speed and physicality of the game from nearly anywhere in the building.

Because ECHL hockey is built around development, Royals game nights are also about the overall experience — promotional themes, giveaway nights, theme jerseys, and between-period entertainment are a big part of the tradition. If you already have a date circled (especially on weekends, holidays, or promotion nights), browsing Reading Royals tickets early is the smartest move.

Every ECHL arena has its own personality — from downtown rinks that keep you close to the ice to larger multi-purpose buildings that host major events year-round. Santander Arena stands out for its intimate, community-forward setup in the heart of Reading, and you can browse tickets across the league whenever you’re traveling or tracking your team’s road schedule.

How Much Do Reading Royals Tickets Cost?

Reading Royals tickets typically range from around $15 to $40 for most seats to premium/club and suite options higher, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Prices can climb for weekend games, holiday dates, playoff contests, and popular promotions like giveaway nights or themed events. If you’re looking for strong value, weeknight matchups and less date-driven games are often a great way to get into the arena while keeping your overall night out budget-friendly.

Reading Royals Seating at Santander Arena

Santander Arena offers a classic mid-sized hockey setup with a single primary seating bowl wrapped around the ice, keeping sightlines tight and the atmosphere loud. With lower seating close to the rink and upper rows set farther back, you can choose between being right on top of the action or getting a wider view of how plays develop.

Best Seats for Reading Royals Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you're after:

  • Best value: upper rows and corner/end sections — elevated full view, crowd energy, lower price point
  • Closest to the action: lower seating closest to the rink — feel the pace up close
  • Best overall view: center-ice sections along the sides near center ice — strong sightlines, plays developing across the ice
  • For groups and premium experiences: suites and premium/club seating options — comfort and privacy for groups or special occasions

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting a high-demand date (weekends, holiday games, or big promotions), it’s smart to coordinate early so you have the best selection of adjacent seats.

You can view an interactive seating map directly on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com while you browse available listings. The map lets you compare sections side by side, check row depth and distance from the ice, and see real-time pricing for what's currently available — all before you commit to a purchase.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to get a clear picture of your sightline, whether you're positioned at center ice or behind a net, and how close you'll be to the ice — so the seat you choose matches what you're actually looking for.

Getting Ready for Reading Royals Game Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially in a downtown arena setting where entry lines and nearby traffic can pick up quickly close to puck drop.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Santander Arena gets congested on game nights. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
  • Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
  • Arrive early. Doors typically open about an hour before puck drop.
  • Public Transit: Santander Arena is served by BARTA (Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority) bus service, which can be a convenient way to get downtown on game night.
  • Parking: Parking is available in nearby downtown garages and lots, including areas adjacent to the Santander Performing Arts Center and other city parking facilities.
