From the intimate bowl at TD Place Arena to the buzz of Lansdowne Park’s shops and restaurants just outside, Ottawa basketball delivers a lively, downtown-adjacent night out. Whether you’ve followed the team for years or you’re planning your first game, Ottawa Blackjacks tickets put you inside the fast pace, big shots, and late-game drama that the Canadian Elite Basketball League is known for.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at TD Place Arena to knowing what to expect when you arrive on game night.

About the Ottawa Blackjacks

The Ottawa BlackJacks are a professional basketball team in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). Established in 2019 and beginning play in the 2020 season, the BlackJacks are a newer franchise that’s been building momentum in Canada’s top-tier domestic pro league, competing in a summer season that culminates with Championship Weekend.

Ottawa plays at TD Place Arena in Ottawa, Ontario, a compact, basketball-friendly building with an approximate capacity of 8,500 in a lower basketball configuration. Opened in 1967 (as the Civic Centre) and reopened in 2014 after extensive renovations as part of the Lansdowne Park redevelopment, the arena sits beneath TD Place Stadium’s south-side stands and is surrounded by an entertainment district that helps make arriving early part of the fun.

Within the CEBL, regional matchups can bring extra edge — especially against Ontario-market opponents like the Niagara River Lions and Brampton Honey Badgers, plus the nearby Quebec-market Montreal Alliance. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Ottawa Blackjacks tickets early is the smartest move.

Ottawa Blackjacks Seating at TD Place Arena

TD Place Arena is a compact, single-bowl building that keeps fans close to the court and helps create an energetic basketball atmosphere. With options ranging from affordable corners and upper rows to premium seating near the floor, you can choose a view that fits your budget and the kind of game-night experience you want.

Best Seats for Ottawa Blackjacks Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you’re after:

  • Best value: Upper rows of the bowl and corner/baseline sections — a full-court perspective and a lower price point
  • Closest to the action: Lower seating surrounding the court — you’ll feel the speed of the game and the physicality on drives and rebounds
  • Best overall view: Centre-court sideline sections near courtside — balanced sightlines to track plays developing across the court
  • For groups and premium experiences: Courtside seating and premium lower-bowl/club-style options — added comfort and a standout experience for special occasions

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting high-demand matchups, it pays to shop early so you can keep everyone together.

You can view an interactive seating map directly on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com while you browse available listings. The map lets you compare sections side by side, check row depth and distance from the court, and see real-time pricing for what's currently available — all before you commit to a purchase.

Can I See Where My Seats Are?

Yes. The interactive seat map on BoxOfficeTicketSales.com shows your exact section and row placement before you buy. Use it to get a clear picture of your sightline, whether you're positioned "courtside or along the sideline", and how close you'll be to the court — so the seat you choose matches what you're actually looking for.

Getting Ready for Ottawa BlackJacks Game Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially with the Lansdowne Park district getting busy as fans arrive for game night.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near TD Place Arena gets congested on game nights. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
  • Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
  • Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand nights.
  • Public Transit: TD Place is served by Ottawa’s OC Transpo bus network, with connections to the O-Train light rail system. Bank Street and Glebe neighborhood routes provide access to Lansdowne Park.
  • Rideshare: Use the designated pickup/drop-off areas serving the Lansdowne Park district, and plan ahead for post-game traffic.
  • Bag Policy: TD Place enforces a bag-size limit; large bags and backpacks are generally restricted, and small bags are subject to search.
  • Payment/Cashless: Bring a card or mobile payment — TD Place is cashless for concessions and most transactions.
  • Parking: On-site parking is available at Lansdowne Park, with additional nearby street and neighborhood parking in the Glebe.
