About the Oshawa Generals

The Oshawa Generals bring major junior ice hockey to Oshawa, Ontario, as a long-running member of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) system. Founded in 1937, the Generals are a historic junior franchise known for developing elite talent on the path to the NHL, with alumni that include Bobby Orr, Eric Lindros, John Tavares, and Dale Hawerchuk.

The Generals play home games at Tribute Communities Centre, a modern, multi-purpose arena in downtown Oshawa that opened in 2006. With a hockey capacity of approximately 5,180, it’s an intimate setting where sightlines feel close and the crowd stays engaged from warmups through the final horn.

In the OHL’s Eastern Conference (East Division), matchup intensity ramps up fast, especially when the standings and playoff positioning are on the line. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Oshawa Generals tickets early is the smartest move.
