Flint Firebirds Tickets

In Flint, hockey feels personal — and that’s exactly what makes a night at Dort Financial Center so much fun. With an intimate bowl and fans close to the ice, Flint Firebirds tickets put you right in the middle of major junior energy in Genesee County.

This page covers everything you need — from choosing the right seats at Dort Financial Center to knowing what to expect when you arrive on game night.

About the Flint Firebirds

The Flint Firebirds bring family-friendly hockey to Flint, Michigan as a member of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)—one of the three major junior leagues under the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) umbrella. Founded in 2015 (beginning play in the 2015–16 season), the Firebirds compete in the Western Conference, West Division, and have grown into a consistent presence in the OHL’s competitive landscape.

Major junior hockey is built around player development, featuring athletes aged 16–20 who are chasing NHL dreams. While the Firebirds don’t operate under a single parent affiliation, they serve as a destination for NHL draft-eligible talent—developing players who go on to be selected in the NHL Entry Draft and advance to professional hockey.

On game night, the Firebirds play at Dort Financial Center in Flint. Opened in 1969, the multi-purpose arena hosts hockey, concerts, and community events, with an engaged local crowd that’s close to the ice. With a hockey capacity of approximately 4,000, it’s a setting where the pace feels faster and the action feels closer.

If you’re planning a family outing, a weekend matchup, or a high-demand date on the calendar, browsing Flint Firebirds tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Flint Firebirds Tickets Cost?

Flint Firebirds tickets typically range from around $15 to $35 for most seats to $35 or more for center-ice locations, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Prices can move based on opponent and rivalry games, weekend vs. weekday dates, promotional nights, playoff games, and overall demand. If you’re shopping for value, comparing multiple dates and being flexible with seat location can help you land a strong deal.

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially with an arena environment where entry and parking flow quickly when you plan ahead.

  • Download your tickets before you leave. Mobile service near Dort Financial Center gets congested on game nights. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
