About Murray State Racers Baseball

Murray State Racers Baseball competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC). The program’s signature milestone came in 2025, when Murray State reached the Men’s College World Series in Omaha for the first time in program history, defeating Ole Miss and Duke along the way as a No. 4 regional seed. Over its long tenure in the Ohio Valley Conference, the Racers also captured multiple OVC regular-season and tournament championships.

Racers home games are played at Johnny Reagan Field at Reagan Field in Murray, Kentucky. Named in honor of longtime Murray State baseball coach Johnny Reagan, the ballpark is known for an intimate on-campus college baseball setting that keeps you connected to the action from the first pitch through the final out.

Rivalry and high-interest matchups can drive demand throughout the season. Historically, frequent games against Austin Peay and Southeast Missouri State helped shape Murray State’s OVC era, while MVC play now brings growing competitive edges with teams like Dallas Baptist and Southern Illinois. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Murray State Racers Baseball tickets early is the smartest move.
