About Lincoln University Lions

Lincoln University Lions tennis represents Lincoln University (PA), a school founded in 1854 with a proud place in American higher education as the first degree-granting historically Black college or university in the United States. The Lions compete in NCAA Division II and are members of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), a conference known for its deep HBCU athletic culture.

Match days with Lincoln bring a mix of competition and community, with school spirit rooted in the university’s heritage and the energy that comes from conference play. CIAA athletics is built on tradition, pride, and regional rivalries across the mid-Atlantic and southeastern footprint, and Lions tennis carries that same identity onto the court.

If you’re planning to catch the Lions in CIAA competition, securing Lincoln University Lions tickets (when admission is charged) early can be a smart way to lock in your match-day plans—especially for key conference matchups.
