About Kansas Jayhawks Softball

Kansas Jayhawks Softball represents the University of Kansas at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Established in 1995 (varsity softball era), the program has built a winning tradition over time, posting an all-time record of roughly 1,644-1,070-4 (.606) and earning multiple NCAA Tournament appearances as it competes for Big 12 positioning each season.

Across the program’s history, Kansas has produced multiple NFCA All-Region and All-Big 12 selections, along with multiple All-America awards and honors recognition. In the dugout, head coach Jennifer McFalls leads the Jayhawks as they continue to develop and push for consistent NCAA Tournament contention within one of college softball’s most competitive conference landscapes.

Kansas Jayhawks Softball Seating at Arrocha Ballpark

Arrocha Ballpark delivers a classic college softball seating experience with an intimate layout that keeps sightlines close to the field. With a single-level seating bowl centered around home plate and extending down both baselines, it’s easy to pick a section that matches your budget and how you like to watch the game.

Best Seats for Kansas Jayhawks Softball Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game day experience you're after:

  • Best value: General admission outfield-side and far baseline seating — a budget-friendly way to take in the full game with plenty of crowd energy
  • Closest to the action: Seating along the baselines near home plate — you’ll feel every at-bat and defensive play develop in front of you
  • Best overall view: Seats directly behind home plate — one of the cleanest looks at pitch location, plate appearances, and defensive positioning across the field
  • For groups and premium experiences: Stadium seating groups together in the main bowl — great for bringing friends, family, or a larger party to the ballpark

If you’re organizing a group outing for a key Big 12 series or rivalry matchup, it’s smart to buy early so you can keep everyone seated together.

Use it to get a clear picture of your sightline, whether you're positioned behind home plate or down a baseline, and how close you'll be to the field — so the seat you choose matches what you're actually looking for.

Getting Ready for Kansas Jayhawks Softball Game Day

  • Rideshare: Rideshare pickup and drop-off are available at designated campus locations near the venue—plan your pickup spot in advance for a smoother exit.
  • Bag Policy: Kansas Athletics follows a clear-bag policy consistent with its venues, including limits on bag size and prohibited items; small clutch bags are typically permitted.
