About ESPN Events Invitational

The ESPN Events Invitational is an annual early-season NCAA Division I men’s college basketball tournament held in late November around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The event takes place at State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida, in the Walt Disney World Resort area, bringing together a rotating mix of Division I programs for a multi-day, neutral-site bracket.

The tournament uses an eight-team bracket played over multiple days, traditionally Thursday, Friday, and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Teams advance through quarterfinals and semifinals to reach the championship game, with placement and consolation games ensuring each team plays three games across the event. Along with the tournament championship trophy, the event also recognizes top performers with an All-Tournament Team and a Most Valuable Player award, and the wins can play an important role in building early-season momentum and strengthening NCAA Tournament résumés.

Over the years (including earlier identities such as the Old Spice Classic and AdvoCare Invitational), the field has featured a broad range of high-major and mid-major programs, with participants changing annually. With an intimate setting inside a multi-sport complex, it’s a close-up way to experience bracket basketball early in the season. If you’re planning to attend ESPN Events Invitational, browsing tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do ESPN Events Invitational Tickets Cost?

ESPN Events Invitational tickets typically range from around $25–$60 for single-session general seating to $75–$200+ or more for all-session and premium/lower-bowl options, with premium packages running higher.

Pricing is most affected by which session you choose (early-round sessions vs. championship day), the marquee programs in the field, demand from participating fan bases, and how close you are to the event date. If you’re looking for value, earlier sessions and seats farther from the floor can be a smart way to get into the building while still catching the full bracket atmosphere.

No hidden fees. At Box Office Ticket Sales, the price you see is the price you pay. All fees are shown before checkout — no surprise charges when you reach the final step.

Getting Ready for ESPN Events Invitational Game Day

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially for a multi-game tournament schedule where arrival timing and entry lines can affect how smoothly your day starts.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cellular service near large events can get congested on game days. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand dates.
• Bag policy. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex enforces a clear-bag policy; small clutch bags and medically necessary bags are generally permitted, with larger and non-clear bags prohibited.
• Rideshare. Rideshare drop-off and pickup are accommodated at designated areas within the complex.
• Parking. On-site parking is available at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
• Payment. Cashless payment is standard at the complex’s concessions and merchandise points.
• Public transit and shuttles. The venue is within the Walt Disney World Resort area, served by Disney resort transportation and area shuttle services.
• What to bring. Bring your mobile ticket, a clear bag if needed, light layers for the indoor arena climate, and your school/team colors.
