About Baylor Bears Softball

Baylor Bears Softball competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Big 12 Conference, with varsity play beginning in the 2000 season. Since establishing the program, Baylor has built a national postseason profile, highlighted by Women’s College World Series appearances in 2007, 2011, and 2014. One of the defining figures of the program is Glenn Moore, the longtime head coach who guided Baylor to those WCWS runs and multiple Big 12 titles, while standout pitcher Whitney Canion is remembered as a central force in Baylor’s deepest postseason pushes.

Home games are played on campus in Waco, Texas at Getterman Stadium, an intimate softball facility that opened in 1999 and seats approximately 1,200 fans. With seating close to the field and a single-level bowl typical of college softball, the environment keeps you connected to every at-bat, every pitch sequence, and every big defensive moment.

Baylor’s Big 12 slate can bring high-demand matchups, especially against rivals like the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowgirls, along with historic in-state intensity versus the Texas A&M Aggies. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Baylor Bears Softball tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Baylor Bears Softball Tickets Cost?

Baylor Bears Softball tickets typically range from around $5 to $15 for general admission and reserved seating to $5–$15 or more for reserved options closer to the action, with suites and hospitality packages running higher. Hosted NCAA Tournament games (including regionals and super regionals) can also bring higher pricing.

What impacts cost the most is the matchup and calendar spot—Big 12 series against high-profile opponents, rivalry energy, weekend dates, and games with ranking or postseason implications tend to draw stronger demand. If you’re shopping for value, comparing different dates and seat locations is a smart way to find the right fit.

Getterman Stadium offers a classic college-softball seating experience: a single-level bowl with seating wrapped behind home plate and extending down the baselines. Because the capacity is intimate, fans stay close to the field, and big moments can feel right on top of you—especially during conference series and postseason games in Waco.

Best Seats for Baylor Bears Softball Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game day experience you’re after:

• Best value: General admission bleacher seating down the baselines — a fun, affordable way to take in the full game with plenty of crowd energy
• Closest to the action: Lower seating areas behind home plate and along the baselines — you’ll feel the pace of every at-bat and pitch sequence up close
• Best overall view: Chairback seating directly behind home plate at the center of the backstop — strong sightlines for seeing the entire field and how each play develops
• For groups and premium experiences: Chairback seating sections behind home plate — a comfortable option for bringing friends or family together in one area

If you’re organizing a group outing for a rivalry matchup or a high-demand series, it’s smart to line up seats early so everyone can sit together.
