About Ball State Baseball

Ball State Cardinals baseball is an NCAA Division I program in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), with baseball played at Ball State since the early 20th century. Over the program’s history, the Cardinals have captured multiple MAC regular-season and tournament titles and have made NCAA Tournament appearances. The program is also recognized for developing professional talent—highlighted by former Cardinal Bryan Bullington, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 MLB Draft, along with numerous alumni who have advanced through pro baseball.

Home games are played in Muncie, Indiana at First Merchants Ballpark Complex (Ball Diamond), an on-campus facility with an intimate college atmosphere. With an approximate capacity of 1,000, the ballpark offers close proximity to the field, making it a great place to follow a weekend series or catch a conference matchup up close.
