DAR Constitution Hall is a historic landmark in Washington D.C. Originally built in 1929 to host the annual convention of the Daughters of the American Revolution, it has since become the center for a variety of speakers, concerts, and other events over the years. DAR Constitution Hall has the largest auditorium in Washington, with seating for over 3,700 people, including 52 private boxes. But the U-shaped design of the balcony accommodates the larger numbers and gives everyone a good view of the action, no matter where they’re seated. You can get DAR Constitution Hall tickets for a number of great events this year. In May is a concert by hip hop artist Mos Def and R&B singer Chrisette Michele, as well as a stop on the tour of operatic pop vocal group Il Divo. Then in July is their free “Celebrate America” event, followed by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and then Tori Amos in August.
