About Moody Coliseum - SMU

Moody Coliseum is an indoor arena on the campus of Southern Methodist University at 6024 Airline Rd in Dallas, Texas. Opened in 1956, the venue has served SMU for decades and underwent a major renovation and expansion completed in 2013. That project modernized the seating bowl, refreshed the concourses, added premium areas, and included the David B. Miller Court. The coliseum is home to SMU Mustangs Men's Basketball, SMU Mustangs Women's Basketball, and SMU Mustangs Volleyball. The 2013 renovation preserved the venue's historic exterior and dome-like profile while modernizing the interior into a compact, energetic collegiate arena where fans stay close to the court.
