Getting Ready for Your Delano Performing Arts Center Event

Once your tickets are confirmed, a few practical preparations make your visit run significantly smoother — especially when you are driving to a school-campus venue and planning around event parking.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Save your tickets to your phone's wallet or screenshot them before departing so you're ready at the entrance without needing a signal.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having for a full evening.
• Arrive early. Plan to arrive by car and allow time to park in the campus lots, especially for well-attended performances where convenient spaces may fill before showtime.
• Dress in layers. Delano Performing Arts Center is an indoor, climate-controlled venue, but Minnesota seasonal conditions can mean cold temperatures and snow when traveling to and from the performance.
• Build extra time into your arrival plan. U.S. Highway 12 is the primary route connecting Delano with the western Twin Cities suburbs, so give yourself enough time for the drive, parking, and entry before the event begins.
• Check the bag policy in advance. Reviewing the venue's guidelines before packing prevents delays at security.
