About the St. Cloud Norsemen

The St. Cloud Norsemen bring affordable, family-friendly hockey to St. Cloud, Minnesota as a Tier II junior team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Founded in 2016 (beginning NAHL play in the 2016–17 season), the Norsemen compete in the Central Division and focus on what junior hockey does best: developing players and helping move them toward NCAA Division I and Division III college hockey commitments, with some advancing to higher junior leagues such as the USHL.

On the ice, the program has shown it can contend at a high level in the NAHL. The Norsemen won the Central Division regular-season and playoff titles in 2021–22 and advanced to the Robertson Cup Semifinals that season, underscoring the organization’s ability to combine development with winning. In junior hockey, every game is also part of a bigger story—fans get to watch players grow, earn opportunities, and take the next step.

Home games are played at the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC) in St. Cloud. Opened in 1973 (with subsequent renovations), the MAC is a multi-sheet municipal ice facility that also serves local youth, high school, and community hockey programs. With an approximate capacity of 3,000, it delivers an intimate, close-knit environment where fans are right on top of the action—exactly the kind of setting that makes NAHL game night feel lively and connected.

Best Seats for St. Cloud Norsemen Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you're after:

• Best value: General admission seating — in a single-bowl community rink, upper-row and corner/end seats are typically the most affordable while still giving you a full look at the ice and crowd energy
• Closest to the action: Lower-bowl seating — you’ll feel the pace up close with the boards, corners, and net-front battles right in front of you
• Best overall view: Center-ice seats along the sides near center ice — some of the strongest sightlines for seeing plays develop across the ice
• For groups and premium experiences: Look for group-friendly options and listings with extra comfort where available — a great fit for special occasions and bringing more people together

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting a high-demand matchup, it’s smart to purchase early so you can keep everyone together.
