About Scott Hamilton And Friends

Scott Hamilton & Friends is an annual charity figure skating exhibition held in Nashville, Tennessee, typically in late November, with recent editions staged on or around November 24. Created by Scott Hamilton—the 1984 Olympic gold medalist, four-time World Champion, and one of the most recognized male figure skaters in the world—the show blends world-class skating, live music, and philanthropy into a single, memorable night.

This is a non-competitive showcase, not a tournament: there’s no scoring, title, or prize purse. Instead, the event features choreographed programs across singles, pairs, and ice dance, often paired with live musical performances and hosted (and frequently performed in) by Hamilton. The stakes are rooted in the mission—fundraising for cancer research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, with proceeds in some years also benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Each edition brings a champion-level cast assembled by Hamilton, regularly gathering Olympic, World, and national champion skaters, alongside featured musical guests who perform live with the skating. With a benefit-gala atmosphere and a Nashville music-meets-skating identity, it’s a distinctive live experience—and if you’re planning to attend Scott Hamilton And Friends, browsing tickets early is the smartest move.

Getting Ready for Scott Hamilton And Friends Show Night

Once your tickets are confirmed, a little preparation goes a long way — especially for a one-night benefit event where timing and comfort help you enjoy every performance.

• Download your tickets before you leave. Cellular service near large events can get congested on show nights. Save them to your phone's wallet or screenshot them as a backup.
• Charge your phone fully. Digital ticketing is the standard, and your phone is your entry. A portable battery pack is worth having.
• Arrive early. Give yourself extra time for entry and security, especially on high-demand dates.
• Dress in layers. Ice venues run cool, so wearing layers can help you stay comfortable throughout the show.
• Be seated before the opening performance. Arriving early helps you get settled so you don’t miss the opening number.
