About Santa Clara Broncos Basketball

Santa Clara men’s basketball competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the West Coast Conference (WCC), carrying a proud history that includes an NCAA Final Four appearance in 1952. The Broncos’ story is also defined by a landmark moment in March: as a No. 15 seed in the 1993 NCAA Tournament, Santa Clara upset No. 2 seed Arizona — a game that helped launch the national profile of freshman guard Steve Nash. Across the decades, the program has made multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and has collected numerous WCC regular-season and tournament championships.

The Broncos’ legacy is anchored by standout names connected to Santa Clara Basketball, including Steve Nash (a two-time NBA MVP and Basketball Hall of Famer), Kurt Rambis, longtime head coaches Dick Garibaldi and Carroll Williams, and NBA players Bud Ogden and Ralph Ogden. Nash’s No. 11 jersey is honored by the program as its most celebrated number, and his era remains a defining chapter for the Broncos’ identity.

Home games are played at Leavey Center, an on-campus multipurpose arena that opened in 1975 and seats approximately 4,500 fans. The compact layout keeps spectators close to the court, creating an energetic home-court feel—especially when WCC opponents come to town and the building fills with students, alumni, and the Broncos’ cardinal-and-white colors.

In the WCC, Santa Clara’s biggest demand games often come against familiar conference rivals like the San Francisco Dons, Saint Mary’s Gaels, and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, with additional regional intensity in matchups against the Pacific Tigers. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Santa Clara Broncos Basketball tickets early is the smartest move.

How Much Do Santa Clara Broncos Basketball Tickets Cost?

Santa Clara Broncos Basketball tickets typically range from around $10 to $15 for general upper/baseline seating to $30–$50+ or more for premium center-court lower seats, with suites and hospitality packages running higher.

Pricing tends to rise for high-demand WCC opponents like Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s, and San Francisco, and can also shift based on the day of the week, promotional dates, and where Santa Clara stands in the WCC race. Santa Clara Broncos Basketball Seating at Leavey Center

Leavey Center is a single-bowl, on-campus arena with seating surrounding the court, and its compact design keeps sightlines close and connected to the action. With options on the sidelines and behind the baskets, you can choose a seat that fits your budget and the kind of game-night atmosphere you want.

Best Seats for Santa Clara Broncos Basketball Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game night experience you're after:

• Best value: Upper rows and baseline/end sections — an elevated look at the full floor, plenty of crowd energy, and a typically lower price point
• Closest to the action: Lower-level seating — sit near the court and feel the pace of the game up close
• Best overall view: Center-court sideline sections near center court — strong sightlines for seeing plays develop across the court
• For groups and premium experiences: Group seating options in the bowl — a comfortable way to bring friends, family, or alumni groups together for a big WCC night

If you’re organizing a group outing or targeting a high-demand WCC matchup, it’s smart to line up your seats early so everyone can sit together.
