About Jacksonville Dolphins Baseball

Jacksonville Dolphins baseball is the NCAA Division I program representing Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. The Dolphins have competed at the Division I level since 1969 and play in the ASUN Conference (Atlantic Sun Conference). Over the years, Jacksonville has built a reputation as a competitive mid-major program with multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and a track record of capturing conference titles across different conference eras, including the ASUN.

Home games are played at John Sessions Stadium, the on-campus ballpark at Jacksonville University. With an approximate capacity of 1,000, the venue delivers an intimate college baseball environment where fans sit close to the diamond and the game feels personal from the first inning to the final out.

In the ASUN, conference matchups can be especially important—and they can drive demand when standings and postseason positioning are on the line. Jacksonville’s most natural rivalry is the cross-town, intra-conference matchup against the North Florida Ospreys, and regional in-state games like Stetson can bring added intensity. Non-conference games against in-state opponents such as Florida also draw local interest when scheduled. If there’s a specific rivalry game you’re targeting, browsing Jacksonville Dolphins Baseball tickets early is the smartest move.

John Sessions Stadium delivers an up-close college baseball experience with an on-campus feel. With a smaller capacity and close proximity to the diamond, it’s a great venue for fans who want to track every at-bat, follow the action inning by inning, and stay connected to the game from anywhere in the grandstand.

Best Seats for Jacksonville Dolphins Baseball Games

The right seat depends on what kind of game day experience you’re after:

• Best value: General admission grandstand seating behind home plate and along the baselines — a strong overall view and an easy way to enjoy the game at a lower price point
• Closest to the action: General admission seating near the baselines — feel the pace of the game up close as plays develop around the infield
• Best overall view: Seating directly behind home plate — a classic baseball angle for tracking pitches, defensive positioning, and how innings unfold across the diamond
• For groups and premium experiences: Group seating options are a smart play for families, alumni meetups, and larger outings where sitting together matters most

If you’re organizing a group for a rivalry matchup or a key conference series, it’s worth locking in your seats early so everyone can sit together.
